Beberapa saat yang lalu ada pemberitahuan dari Yahoo! lewat email, inti dari pemberitahuan adalah mengenai layanan Geocities dan akan ditutupnya Yahoo! 360.
Sebelumnya beberapa background blog ini saya taruh di geocities ada beberapa yang tidak muncul mungkin hal tersebut berkaitan dengan layanan mereka. Setelah saya login ke account Geocities terdapat pesan sebagai berikut:

Sebelumnya Yahoo! juga menutup layanan Yahoo! Briefcase. Tampaknya Yahoo! mulai kebingungan dengan fokus bisnis mereka. Beberapa layanan dan fitur baru kelihatan menjiplak dari layanan yang sudah lebih dulu populer, salah satunya Facebook.
